EkDrishti ("this website", "we") is an independent personal project maintained by an individual, not by any government department, employer, company or organisation. It is offered free of charge as a convenience directory and set of utilities. Contact details are on the contact page.

• No user accounts, passwords or login credentials for any portal.
• No Aadhaar, PAN, employee number, service record or salary information.
• No OTPs, banking data, card numbers or UPI PINs — we will never ask for these.
• No uploaded documents are stored on our servers; browser-side tools stay in your browser.
• No sale, rental, barter or sharing of personal data with advertisers or data brokers.

• Server/access logs: our hosting provider may log IP address, browser type, referring page, timestamp and requested URL for security, abuse prevention and uptime diagnostics. These logs are retained only for a short operational period.
• Local storage: small values stored in your own browser (for example, to remember that you dismissed a notice) — these never leave your device and can be cleared at any time from your browser settings.
• Messages you send us: if you email or message us voluntarily, we hold that correspondence only for as long as needed to answer you.

Processing is limited to our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functioning website, and to your consent where you voluntarily contact us or make a voluntary contribution. We do not carry out profiling or automated decision-making.

We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Strictly necessary technical storage may be used to make the site work. If a privacy-respecting analytics measure is ever introduced, it will be aggregate-only and disclosed here before activation.

This website links to external government, PSU and vendor websites. Once you follow such a link you leave EkDrishti and become subject to that website's own privacy policy and terms. We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, the content, security, availability or data practices of external sites.

Any donation is made directly through your own UPI/banking app to the maintainer's payment handle. We never receive, store or process your card, bank or UPI credentials. Donations are voluntary, non-refundable gifts towards hosting costs; they purchase no product, service, membership, priority support or preferential treatment of any kind.

The site is served over HTTPS and we apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Do not send confidential, classified or departmentally restricted information to us through any channel.

The site is intended for adults and working professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and it will be deleted.

Subject to applicable law (including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and, where relevant, the GDPR), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we actually hold about you, and you may withdraw consent at any time. Because we deliberately hold almost nothing, in most cases there will be no personal data to provide. Requests can be made via the contact page and are answered within a reasonable period.

This policy may be updated at any time to reflect legal or technical changes. The "last updated" date above always shows the current version, and continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the then-current policy.
